University Of West Alabama Automotive Technician
The Automotive Technician program prepares students to carry out factory advisable upkeep procedures and to diagnose and repair efficiency issues of engine, transmission, steering, suspension, heating, cooling, brake, and electrical programs in automobiles and vans. The program provides knowledge and ability in using hand and machine instruments, automotive components, on-line service references, computerized tools and other technical equipment required to maintain and service increasingly complex automotive automobiles. Automotive Technician students also prepare for the difficult area of performance diagnostics.
The Automotive Technician possibility gives data of the various systems used to develop expertise in troubleshooting, performing preventative upkeep, servicing and repairing automobiles. The program, which is designed to be completed in two years, prepares graduates for entry-level service technician jobs in the auto repair trade. The student could also be offered a piece-examine experience alternating between intervals of labor on-site and work in a classroom-laboratory setting.
