The prosperity of the city was brief lived, although, and by 1937 the town was closed down and have become a ghost town. Now owned by the Bureau of Land administration, Swansea is 25 miles away from Bouse and is accessible solely by tough grime roads. Adventurous visitors can still see most of the mine shafts and remnants of the group. The truck that still sits near the mine appears to have been abandoned when the mine closed down. I do get to remain concerned with the previous muscle and classic cars by my friend Dan who runs houseofddd eBay Motors auction website. He might be one of the high eBay Motors sellers. He sends me the old footage of his vehicles on a regular basis, so I guess I am sort of spoiled. I get to look at unique outdated car footage that you simply just do not discover on the Internet.
